Private solutions · The firm umbrella
One house. Cross-discipline mandates.
The ASE consulting practice is the single entry point into the firm. Every engagement begins with a senior partner, a written scope, and a commitment to deliver the work under the same name that signed it.

- By referral
Representative engagement posture for the consulting practice. Scope and terms are fixed in the written brief.
Practice lines
Five disciplines, one partner.
Each line runs as a first-class practice with its own senior partners. The consulting desk coordinates across them so the client holds a single conversation.
Evidence
A practice, not a proposal generator.
- 2003
- Year the practice was founded on pharmaceutical water delivery

- By referral
- Engagements are partner-led and arrive principally by referral

A brief is read in the room, not delegated. Senior partners carry it from the first conversation to the last commissioning record.
Engagement modes
Four ways the firm takes work.
Each mode is priced, scoped, and documented differently. The consulting desk recommends the mode that fits the problem rather than the one that maximises revenue.
- Feasibility and advisoryWritten feasibility, option analysis, and independent second opinion on existing scopes. Typically two to six weeks, fixed fee.
- End-to-end deliverySurvey, design, build, commission, and stewardship under a named senior partner. Priced to scope; fixed where possible.
- Retained stewardshipAnnual retainer with named lead, quarterly reviews, and defined response times for ongoing infrastructure estates.
- Capital-project oversightIndependent review and owner-engineer support on capital projects already in delivery. A senior partner holds the brief across disciplines.
Not a fit
The practice is deliberately narrow. These are not engagements the firm takes.
- Vendor resaleWe do not resell third-party hardware or software licences.
- Speculative lead generationNo unpaid pitches, RFIs for market-scan, or panel padding.
- Unmanaged implementation hand-offWe do not hand a design to an unmanaged contractor and step away.
- Commodity RFP responsesLow-touch, price-led tenders are not where the practice adds value.
Next step
A partner call, thirty minutes.
No proposal deck, no follow-up sequence. You leave with a written summary, a realistic view of what the engagement would require, and a direct line back to the partner.
