Situation
SOLARKIT Europe Kft. is a Budapest solar distributor serving the DACH market, on a growth path later confirmed by an FT1000 listing among Europe’s fastest-growing companies.
Complication
Wholesale growth had outrun reporting, inventory and finance workflows. Process knowledge lived in people’s heads, which does not scale and does not survive staff change.
Resolution
ASE supported the SAP deployment and standardised the processes around it: reporting, inventory and finance workflows rebuilt, wholesale processes documented, and a structured run-and-change handover so the organisation owns the system it paid for.
Implementation support
ERP and SAP deployment support through configuration, testing and cutover, run while the warehouse kept shipping. Cutover was sequenced around live trading weeks so order intake, goods receipt and invoicing never stopped, and the Hungarian entity’s reporting obligations stayed intact throughout.
Process standardisation
Reporting, inventory and finance workflows standardised across the order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay chains, and the wholesale processes documented step by step: how a panel pallet is received, booked, reserved and shipped, and who owns each step. In a market where warehouses across Europe sat on unsold stock, inventory truth was treated as the process that matters most.
Run and change handover
A structured handover covering daily operations, error handling and change management, with the documentation written for the people who stay, not the consultants who leave. The engagement closed without a standing dependency on ASE.
