SOLARKIT Europe Kft.
DACH business development
Monthly DACH sales moved from under EUR 100k to over EUR 270k in under a year, built on channels and offer discipline rather than discounting.
Situation
The distributor was entering the DACH market against established wholesalers, in the hardest buyer’s market European solar distribution had seen.
Complication
With warehouse gluts across Europe, competing on price alone was a race to zero margin. Growth had to come from channel structure and offer quality.
Resolution
ASE ran the business development programme: channel build-out, key-account development and offer discipline that made every quotation deliberate.
Channel build-out
A structured map of the DACH installer and reseller channel, worked account by account rather than by mass outreach. German-speaking installers buy from suppliers who answer specification questions the same day and hold delivery promises; the channel plan prioritised counterparties with repeat volume and built the service standard that keeps them.
Key-account development
Named accounts developed with engineering-grade responsiveness on the two questions installers actually decide on: exact specification and real availability. Accounts were grown deliberately from first trial order to standing volume, with every commitment tracked to delivery.
Offer discipline
Quotations governed for margin, availability and follow-up: no offer left the desk without a margin check, a stock check and a follow-up date. In a falling market this discipline is what separates growth from a busy way of losing money.
